The first part introduces basic concepts and objective components of the design process. The next part deals with the subjective visualization inherent in sketching, modeling, and reworking. I should have read this book before going in to college!

I must say this is exactly the kind of book i've been looking for, since I entered architecture school I have been trying to find literature for a good design process applied to architecture. The book covers the architectural design process from start to finish with many helpfull insights into the various stages of the complex design process involved in building. In my opinion, it is a vaery complete book, not just talking about building aspects, but client relationships, cost concerns, while at the same time realizing the diference of the academic and work reality. A must buy in my opinion.

the best ever workbook for codependency

I am a professional therapist and this book has never failed me, as I have used in in therapy with codependent people. It is so "personalized" because of the workbook style, and clients really "get" the concepts and are transformed by using the new insights and skills they learn in this masterful workbook.

Unique workbook worth the price, caution this book may lead to personal changes ;)

This workbook has amazed me with the depth it goes. Stirred up lots of memories/issues from a different perspective than I have explored in the past. Trying to understand the difference between co-dependence and laying down my life for another has caused confussion in the past and I've given up and returned to old familiar patterns. This workbook has me seeing how my beliefs/thoughts about helping others and self-sacrafice may be more about helping me feel good than truly helping others. I belief anyone struggling to discern where that fine line between following Christ begins and co-dependence will find this a helpful tool in re-examining their beliefs. It is divided into units with 5 lessions per unit. I have just finished two units out of 12 and feel encouraged this is a great means to exploring the issue of co-depencency. It is pricey but has been worth it for me. I did find a used one that was in wonderful condition (never written in). Because it is a workbook that has you delving into your own life there are no right/wrong answers. Easy to understand tasks, has lead me to insight into some of the dynamics at play in my most important relationships. I find such insight leads to change slowly but surely and when God changes me and not my circumstances (or the people around me :) I'm glad! Great book

A much awaited book, this is the latest comprehensive study of Ancient Egyptian materials, offering essays on subjects such as stone, metals, faience, glass, papyrus, textiles, leather, ivory, wood, oil, resins and food, and covering from the Predynastic to the Ptolemaic periods. Every chapter, which includes extensive bibliographical references, was written either by an Egyptologist or by a specialist of the subject; contributors include Janine Bourriau, Rosalie David, Joann Fletcher, Nigel Hepper, Salima Ikram, Barry Kemp, Geoffrey Killen, Paul T. Nicholson, Stephen Quirke, Ian Shaw and John Tait. Full illustrated, it also clearly explains the techniques used in the identification of materials. This is an excellent reference for every student and scholar of Egyptology.

Complicated technology made easy to understand.

This book is a must for anyone owning a motorcycle or thinking of owning one.
With a few tool and the ability to read you will be on the way to becoming the master of your ride. While some instructional tech books can be overwhelming for the masses this book is not. Even if you are somewhat mechanically challenged this book will allow you to do some maintenance yourself. As for the more difficult things this book will at least let you understand what your mechanic is telling you. This book is very well written and the illustrations are spot on. A perfect gift for your motorcycle loving friends and family.
